Feb 13, 2019: Travel Day + Visit Sarchi
We will be transferred from the airport to Sarchi to have lunch, learn about the community, and do Oxcart painting activity. Around 4pm we will be transferred to our hotel Brilla Sol.
Feb 14, 2019: Irazu Volcano + Hotsprings
7:30 departure. We will explore the Orosi Valley including churches, coffee plantations, and the Irazu Volcano. Lunch will be at the Chucaras Estate followed by a soak in the hot spring. Return to Brilla Sol. Dinner at Brilla Sol.
Feb 15, 2019 Fly to Gulfo Dulco + Transfer to Saladero Eco Lodge
6:00am Breakfast
6:30 am Group 1 airport departure.
7:00 Group 2 airport departure
8:20am First flight departs.
8:30am Second flight departs.
Both groups will arrive in Puerto Jimenez about 930/945am. We transfer by boat to Saladero Eco-Lodge for two nights.

February 17: Osa Wildlife Sanctuary & La Leona Lodge
7:00am Breakfast.
Move out of Saledero.
9:00am Wildlife Sanctuary Visit
11:00am Boat Transfer to Puerto Jimenez.
Stop at store for snacks.
12-2pm: Taxi ride to Carate w/ packed lunch en route. We will stop if we see cool animals like monkeys and sloths.
2:30-4pm: Drop luggage at base camp. We hike 2 hours to La Leona Eco-Lodge.
Dinner at La Leona.
Night hike.
No wifi or cell here.
February 18, 2019: Monkey Camp Hike
Morning, big hike adjacent to Corcovado National Park. Return for lunch. Free time in afternoon.
February 19, 2019
After breakfast return hike to Carate Base camp. 2 hour taxi ride with lunch en-route. Get to Puerto Jimenez approximately 1pm. Shopping.
Flights to San Jose
430/4:45 – two flights.
Get to San Jose about 530/5:45.
Taxi to Brilla Sol.
Dinner at Brilla Sol.

11:00am Group 1 Departure to the airport. 11:30am Group 2 departure to the airport.
2:00pm flight leaves Costa Rica.
